The boys are quite busy...
20th-Jun-2018 09:30 pm

With "The Americans" finally over, Matthew Rhys can soon be seen in "Mowgli", which would premiere in October 2018. He's also filming for "The Torture Report" (Synopsis: In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, CIA agents begin using extreme interrogation tactics on those they think were behind it) and "Death and Nightingales" (mini-series: An epic tale of love, betrayal, deception, and revenge set in the Irish countryside in 1885)
So, he'll be busy. :)

Trailer for "Mowgli"

Luke Macfarlane: "Killjoys" season 4 starts on July 20. No idea what his further plans are.

Trailer for Killjoys season 4:

The horror-movie "Rock paper dead" (which I'm anxiously waiting for) still has no premier-date. Sad sigh.

Dave Annable and Luke Grimes (Ryan Lafferty) - are both in a new series called "Yellowstone". Dave plays the son of ranch-owner John Dutton (played by Kevin Costner) The show starts airing this week.

Found out that he's also in a movie called "Armed response" with Wesley Snipes. Looks interesting.

Jason Lewis has returned to the set of "Midnight Texas" to film season 2. The show premieres October 26 and Jason is more than ready:

And last but not least:

Eric Winter will be in a new series called "The rookie" with Nathan Fillion to come to the tv this fall. Catch a quick bllink-and-you'll-miss-it glimpse of Eric at 1.17min:

Matthew Rhys: I'll go to see "Mowgli".
"Death and Nightingales" looks great. I think they started filming because I recently saw a picture of Matthew in Ireland and he was wearing sideburns... I also hope "Down The Caravan" will be picked. I know the pilot has been sent out to BBC Wales, Channel 4 and ITV.

Luke Macfarlane: I can't wait for Killjoys. Season 5 is in production until September 25. Maybe an Hallmark movie next?

Dave Annable: really looking forward to watch "Yellowstone".

Jason Lewis: never watched "Midnight Texas". Is it good?

Eric Winter: I won't watch "The Rookie" because I really can't stand Nathan Fillion.

Yes, I'm looking forward to Matthew and Luke's projects. I hope there will be another Christmas-movie with Luke, he's so adorable in them.

I'm not sure about Yellowstone yet, but I will try to find "Armed response" with Dave.

I absolute LOVE AND ADORE "Midnight Texas" and I can't wait for season 2 to start. I started watching out of curiosity for how Jason Lewis would do, (he plays an angel who's married to another man who also has a few secrets) but I fell in love with most of the town's people. I even like the vampire, which is about the biggest compliment I can give any vampire, because I usually hate them and avoid anything with them in it.. :D

Not sure about "The Rookie"either. I loved "Castle" as a show and for most of the actors, but he got a bit on my nerves and then there were all the rumors about him getting rid of Stana Katic, his co-star, and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Maybe I'll give the first episode a go to see how Eric is, if his part isn't that big, I might as well skip. The trailer didn't really 'tease' me to start watching.

Waiting patiently for all of these.:)
Although matthew has some work to do to win me back after the americans. ( i can always mitigate it by a b&s binge watch)
Kevin costnar and luke grimes in yellowstone are a turn off but dave is worth a watch regardless.

:D Matthew: I agree. Though I can recognize the strength of The Americans and the great acting, it just was not my cup of tea. I really tried to like it, but ... I can't.

Dave: watched the first episode. Knowing his fate now, I have no immediate interest in returning to show, perhaps binge-watch it once season 1 is over. I'm not interested enough in Luke Grimes to continue watching it. Though it has Kelly Reilly, who played with Matthew in "Peaches" and I do like her. Binge-watch is for now my option.

Luke and Jason: I cannot wait for the return of "Killjoys" and "Midnight Texas". Absolutely love both shows.

Eric: Yeah, I hear a lot about how great "Firefly" was, never got around to watch it though. Maybe it will make the bad taste go away. And I'm not completely canceling "The Rookie" out.

I don't know about "Nightshift". I liked Drew/Rick, but the show itself just didn't keep interest. Maybe a spin-off about Drew/Rick?
