Summary: A quick little bite... K/S wake up after the New Year's celebrations at Nora's house.
A moan makes Kevin turns over. His head feels like it’s about to explode.
“How much did we drink last night?” He asks softly, knowing that the moan had meant that Scotty had regained consciousness as well. Scotty tries to stretch out, but his body aches too much from having slept in a wrong position.
“You twice as much as me. And if you’re headache is twice as bad as mine, I’d pity you… but I won’t, because you probably deserve it.”
“Where are we?”
“I think at your mom’s house.” Scotty answers.
“I’m naked.” Kevin states, after having peeked under the sheets.
“Scary thought, huh?” Scotty answers. “That maybe your mother…” He holds that thought and quickly peeks under the sheets as well. “Oh, thank God, I’m not naked.” He says it with such deep relief that Kevin begins to chuckle.
“Well, I’m glad my mother didn’t get to see you naked….” His giggle turns into laughter and then into moaning, because laughing hurts his head.
“Why? What’s wrong with me?” Scotty asks, slightly insulted.
“Nothing. But I don’t want her to get green with envy at the luck I’m having.”
“Flatterer.” Scotty shrugs, but he smiles nonetheless at Kevin’s sweet compliment. Well, he considers it a compliment. Kevin turns to his side and puts an arm around Scotty.
“Where are the kids?”
“They went to bed around 1 am.”
“Did they see us drunk?” Kevin wonders, suddenly feeling a bit shameful.
“No. You started drinking after they had left.”
“What did we drink anyway?”
“Some stuff that Luc had brought with him. Home brew or something.”
“Was it 100% alcohol or something? Can’t remember the last time I got this drunk or that my head hurt this much.”
“I don’t know, but I would assume it has quite some alcohol in it.”
“Did I misbehave?”
“Aside from trying to dance the can-can on the table….?” Scotty asks, but upon seeing the shocked look on Kevin’s face, he grins. “Just kidding. No, you were just your own obnoxiously-not-as-funny-as-you-thought-y
Kevin moves closer to Scotty, ready to kiss him.
“Happy New Year… sweeth… Oh!”
“Holdthatthought.” Kevin moans.
He turns over and runs over the en-suite where the toilet is. And Scotty can hear him throw up. He sighs. He was not half as drunk as Kevin, so he feels less sick.
“Happy New Year to you too, baby.” Scotty stretches out and rolls over to Kevin’s place to wait for him there.
