I'm still here, still planning on writing, but I've been fortunate to get myself a temporary job. Three days a week, 8 hours a day, for 4,5 months, replacing someone on maternity-leave. Yeah! After 6 years of unemployment, someone dared to take the plunge with me. I'm working as hard as I can to prove that I'm still very good at being a credit controller. I've been fortunate enough to find work with nice colleaguees, flexible time-schedules and people who give me time to adjust and who don't intimidate me.
It was a HUGE switch for me from being a house-wife and mom to suddenly being back to work. These last few weeks I've been too tired to write much, but I'm finding my rhythm, getting my balance back,(working on an AU)
I still have to figure out how to do things (like Iris's waterpolo and scouting being at inconvenient times for me - though my dad solved that problem)
Just give me a bit to time to adjust.
K/S are still in my head (incessantly bickering that they want my time NOW. I swear, they're like teenagers!), but right now I have to focus on more important things like household, work, daughter, cats, hubby... and getting my hands on 2 tickets to One Direction's concert in Amsterdam. :) That last one has priority for my daughter - and for mom as well. ;)
