It’s 39 days to go until the start of season 3 in America.
There are 39 episodes for season 1 and 2. (Not taking the unaired episode in account or the original pilot, as not everybody can see those)
I started to watch the episodes again. One episode a day.
And then I got the plan to write a small scene for every episode. (Never more than 1 page long)
2.09 Holy matrimony
About: Sarah/Catherine (of ‘screaming orgasm’-fame in ‘Matriarchy’)
Disclaimer: B&S doesn’t belong to me. Written with love, not for money.
Summary: Walker-lady on the barricades.
She wiggled her way up to Sarah and it took Sarah almost a minute to realize that that was the woman that Tommy had identified as ‘Cousin Catherine’, during Kitty’s engagement. She had demanded a ‘Screaming Orgasm’ from Tommy, shocking the usually so unshakable Tommy. Once he knew she was talking about a drink, he had made her one, which she made him taste and he felt would deserve the name ‘Severe Heart-Burn’ better.
She looked slightly more sophisticated now, but only slightly. Sarah tries to ignore her, but there’s no chance. Catherine slithers even closer to Sarah and asks her in a sultry voice and with a look in her eyes that oozes sex ….
“Aren’t those two boys over there your brother and his new boyfriend? The brother who dated our Jason and then hurt him so bad?” Sarah’s eyes narrow, but she remains friendly.
“Yes, that is that brother, but Scotty is just a friend, offering him some moral support after the unkind way your Jason treated our Kevin.” Sarah is all smiles, but her eyes shoot poisoned arrows at Catherine.
“What on Earth does he see in that boy?” Catherine wonders. For one moment Sarah considers if she should remain with the story that Scotty ‘is just a friend’, she knows that Kevin and Scotty are no longer platonic and she also knows that, to Kevin’s grief, Scotty wants to take things slow.
And so she thinks Scotty should be ‘just a friend’ for today. Both Kevin and Scotty are aware of their position, Scotty had even wondered if he should go, but they both behave strictly platonic. They barely touch each other or look at each other. They both mingle, but not necessarily as a couple... and then Catherine’s voice comes back to her.” …. And he’s not even as cute as our Jason. So I wonder….” Sarah feels annoyed and replies, equally lowering her voice.
“Oh, honey… Scotty has talents…. You…. Cannot… Imagine…” And she nods her head to emphasize her words and rolls her eyes. Catherine looks interested and bends over closer to Sarah.
“Care to share?” she asks with double-entendre. Sarah feels nauseous, but smiles overly friendly:
“Don’t mind if I do….” She opens her handbag and pulls out her mobile phone. “Do you have any idea whatsoever what Scotty can do with one of these?” Catherine looks at her as if Sarah has gone mad. But Sarah continues in a conspiratory tone:
“He dials Kevin’s telephone number and then presses the green button and then, you know what? Kevin’s phone rings! And they can talk to eachother.” Sarah’s voice is so sugar-coated that any dentist would shake his head in dismay. But then her voice changes to very cold. “That is a talent Jason never acquired..” And she strides off, leaving a dumbfounded Catherine behind. She loses Kevin and Scotty out of sight for a minute, but then she sees them move into the direction where the pictures are taken for the reception-book and Scotty catches her look. He smiles at her and she smiles back and with her anger at the attack at her brother vanished, she grabs a glass of wine.
