It’s 39 days to go until the start of season 3 in America.
There are 39 episodes for season 1 and 2. (Not taking the unaired episode in account or the original pilot, as not everybody can see those)
I started to watch the episodes again. One episode a day.
And then I got the plan to write a small scene for every episode. (Never more than 1 page long)
2.03 History repeating

Summary: Courtney’s debate with herself.
She shouldn’t have been surprised to see him, she guesses. What she hadn’t thought possible was how much she still wants him. She once was so much in love with him. She followed him everywhere, but once the children came, it became too difficult. They needed her attention, a place to call home. There would be school and all this travelling became too much for her.
She did her best. Luncheons, talking to people, campaigning when she could. Be pretty and shut up. Smile at the camera. Make sure your hair is perfect. Not a lock of hair out of place. Your dress must be perfect. Not too cheap, you must not seem disinterested in yourself. Not too expensive either. People might think you waste money. She’s been under close scrutiny for a long time and slowly she grew to resent the publicity, resent Robert, resent politics…..
She tried talking to Robert, express how lonely she had become. That she had the feeling her life was begin led by forces beyond her control. But Robert was too focused on the ball, to see the rest of the game. She had her dreams when she was young. Independence. Freedom. Travel. Broaden her horizon. In time a family, not straight away. Learn more about the world before being tied to children.
She sighed as she watched Robert leave. She was still so much in love with him, it hurt.
She watches Kitty leave. Kitty’s walk is strong and confident and with a bit of a smirk Courtney asks herself how long it will take for Kitty to realize what Courtney had to learn. She wasn’t being harsh about Robert when she said that Robert did everything alone. He did. Once Kitty would become pregnant and would want a family of her own Robert would leave her emotionally abandoned like he had Courtney.
For now Kitty is an asset to Robert. She is young, strong, popular on tv. She is perfect as Robert’s wife-to-be. He’ll be a great man, a generous lover, a caring, doting husband. But once Kitty will seize to put Robert on the no.1 position in her heart, a place Robert believes he deserves and can command, that is when Robert will change. It happened to her, Courtney, the day Sophie was born and later on when Jack was born. When those two entered her life, Robert no longer held a first position in her heart.
So, one of these days, Kitty would hold her first-born and look into those eyes and Robert would no longer be the most important thing in her life. She’s no longer going to care about politics. She will realize that Robert’s ambition is such an insignificant detail… And then, when that happens, when Kitty will no longer serve Robert’s purpose… That is when Robert will show his true colors…. And Kitty is not going to like to see those.…
